They've already had to fight for their place through video entry, and now, with an arsenal of charm, personality and scientific expertise, the ten chosen finalists will have just three minutes to impress our judges in the most exciting, innovative way possible. Whether talking science or engineering, topics will range from the practical to the bizarre, but you're sure to be amazed by what our contestants have in store.
Acting as compère on the night is David Meade, Northern Ireland's top mentalist, who will also be bamboozling the audience with his legendary mind tricks.
